Clock- Eureka Brass Case Four Side Glass

Eureka Clock was invented by Timothy Bernard Powers of New York and then patented in 1906. The Eureka Clock Company in London made clocks between 1908- 1914 and it is assumed that around 10,000 clocks were made. This particular model is certainly the grandest and the most attractive model of Eureka Clock known as 'La Madeleine' (named after the famous La Madeleine Church in Paris). It has very attractive brass case with stepped base and 4-side beveled glasses having an architectural pediment with cast dragons drinking at a fountain in the tympanum. The dial is 4” white enamel dial with arabic numerals. The movement is stamped with Patent No. 14614 , Patent Date 1906, Serial# 9709 dating @1914. The movement of large size of balance wheel is very spectacular to watch. Dated 1910
