Search Lights are used for various purposes on Ship. They are used for navigation purpose i.e. to identify the routes and ship buoys (buoy- floating object anchored at a definite location to guide or to warn mariners etc). Also used to search missing people at sea, to detect dangers such as icebergs at an early stage.
