SEIKO SHIP CHRONOMETER Seiko QM-10 Quartz Japan Make Chronometer. It has aluminum dial housed in mahogany case with carrying handle at the top. Operates on 4.5V D-Cell battery. The most interesting aspect of this Chronometer is that the second hand advances at one half second increments this makes it more accurate. At the bottom there are three push buttons one is for battery check, second one to stop the second hand and the third one to fast forward the second hand at twice the normal rate. On the back of the unit behind the circular cover is the ‘pull out knob’ for adjusting time.
