Clock- Eureka Wall Clock
Eureka Clock was invented by Timothy Bernard Powers of New York and then patented in 1906. The Eureka Clock Company in London made clocks between 1908-1914 and it is assumed that around 10,000 clocks were made befpre their demise in 1914.
This Wall mount Eureka Clock – Model No. 15 as per Eureka’s Catalogue is rarely found wall clock housed in mahogany case with 12” dial, Arabic numerals. It is signed PAT No. 14614-1906/Eureka Clock Co., London, Serial# 5143 dating @1910, with skeletonized center showing the working of the electromagnetic movement.
Works on 1.5V D-Cell Battery and all is in original condition.
